High Frequency Meter for the Budget Minded
More and more wireless devices are reaching into the higher frequency bands. If you need more than a 3 GHz meter and you like simplicity, this unit is a good choice. One ON/OFF button. Just point and take readings. Very sensitive (down to 25mV/m = 1.6 μW/m² = 0.16 nW/cm²) and goes as high as 14.8 V/m (= 580 mW/m² = 58 μW/cm²). Colored LED bargraph, numerical readout LCD display, and moving bargraph (histogram) showing recent history of signal strength levels. Covers 1 MHz to 8 GHz, with some residual sensitivity up to 10 GHz. Measures continuous wave signals (microwave oven, AM/FM for example) and pulsed digital signals (Wi-Fi, WiMAX, DECT, etc). Detachable external whip antenna which is useful from 600 MHz-5.8 GHz is included (see graph below). SMA connector can be connected directly to line or other antennas. Uses one 9V battery.

Vi har opkøbt en lille brugt parti af Stephen Quartz fiber dosimeters.
Den består at 3 dosimetre og en "lade" station. De er fra civilforsvaret og fra ca 1955.
Der er 3 Penne med som man kan se igennen - den viser fra 1 til 150 Rem, let Stråle syge begynder ved 50 til 100 Rem, så de er til brug i en meget kritisk situation, ikke i dagligdage, der vil den ikke vise noget. Man genstiller der med et let tryk ned mod lade stationen. Mens man ser på måleren. Det var lidt svært, og tog med en del forsøg før jeg fik styr på det. Så man skal have en smule tålmodighed. De er ikke kalibreret i nyere tid, så en vis misvisning har de sikkert. Erstatter ikke en rigtig geigertæller.… More...
